freefloatinghippy ::: Favorites what do you mean? did this really happened to him? 07-07-01 20:39:01 _____________________________________________________
GoddessFourWinds ::: Favorites I don't think it's endearing. I think it's backward as hell! We can see people getting blown up, but naked babies?! Quick, cover the childrens' eyes! It's ridiculous. We're such a "powerful" nation too weak to recognize human sexuality. And, yes, I'm proud to be from the US. (I served in the military, too...before anyone tries to bite my ass.) Peace out. ManilaSyndicate ::: Favorites GoddessFourWinds: Nah, there's a reason why America is the most powerful and influential country of the past 100 years. And what played a huge part in that is the conservatism that has been the backbone of the nation. 07-07-05 13:47:32 _____________________________________________________
GoddessFourWinds ::: Favorites I have to disagree. It's the diversity that makes America strong...not the views of one group of fundamentalists...and it's the ideals of the "Liberal" Democrats that have allowed women and people of color to have the same rights as others. (As much as we can have, anyway.) But I really didn't want to argue politics. I was just talking about a picture of naked baby stirring up so much controversy that even Wal-Mart didn't want to carry the album... Peace out. ManilaSyndicate ::: Favorites GoddessFourWinds: Diversity has it's points, but in the long run it doesn't lead to good. While diversity may enhance culture and creativity, society suffers inevitably because people are tribal by nature and stick to their own kind. Hence, if you have a lot of cultures sharing one country lots of clashes and negativity occur. ( cont. ) 07-07-05 15:36:13 _____________________________________________________
ManilaSyndicate ::: Favorites ( cont. ) A country can only endure if it's inhabitants share one race, culture, and history, or a majority is maintained consistently. 07-07-05 15:44:30 _____________________________________________________
ManilaSyndicate ::: Favorites ( cont. ) America was founded by men who shared the same ethnic and cultural origins. If America was as diverse at it's founding as it is now then the nation would never have seen the light of day. Imagine the squabbles and disagreements that would have occurred. Ever wonder why America is basically at it's worst now than it's ever been? 07-07-05 15:48:41 _____________________________________________________
ManilaSyndicate ::: Favorites ( cont. ) I'd like to add one more note. Women and people of color will never have the same rights as others because this world will always be run by men and at the moment with Western dominance still on the forefront, Whites will still be calling the shots. Read more about differences between races and genders and you'll see why the world is what it is and trying to change it's fundamental nature will lead to chaos. 07-07-05 15:59:02 _____________________________________________________
GoddessFourWinds ::: Favorites If I want to discuss the problems of the world, I'll do that elsewhere, thanks. For now, I think I'll just check out more info about Nirvana/Kurt Cobain... It's why I come to YouTube anyway. :P Peace out. GFW 07-07-05 20:46:43 _____________________________________________________
