Description: Here it is: Bigger, Better, and Longer than ever before! It's Metal (and rock) Songs That Sound Like Other Metal (and rock) Songs: VOLUME II! With more action-packed metalocity, more songs, more clips, more pictures of Dave Mustaine! Due to the overwhelming response to Volume I, here's Volume II, featuring suggestions from YOU, the viewer, like songs to put in, and to have gaps and breaks between some songs so your face doesn't explode from the sheer metal mayhem! Keep those ideas coming! * - There's something of a discrepency regarding Samson's Thunderburst and Iron Maiden's Ides Of March. Samson regularly toured with Iron Maiden in '79 and '80, the bands knew each other well. Iron Maiden's album Killers, upon which was featured 'Ides Of March', was released in 1981, while Samson's Head On (with Thunderburst applied directly to the forehead) was released in 1980, the previous year. However, given that Killers was composed almost entirely of previously-written material, and Samson's familiarity with Maiden material, it's probable that Iron Maiden's version is the original and Samson's is the copy. For simplicity's sake, we're going to go with the one that was released first as being the 'original', Samson's Thunderburst. |

oneshot73 ::: Favorites i thought mechanix was the original, re-written into four horsemen?? both with origins from dave?? and "bruce bruce" was in samson recruited into maiden... these two are like pointing out phil lewis for bringing over a song from girl into l.a.guns (hollywood tease) and calling it a ripoff/copy... 07-10-12 02:05:51 __________________________________________________
chronicdays ::: Favorites Dave has never sung while in Metallica! Dipshit 07-10-11 22:18:14 __________________________________________________
BakNBlack ::: Favorites I've seen Megadeth in concert, twice, and Iron Maiden, I've got all their albums. They're both awesome, awesome bands, they just use a lot of common metal tricks, especially from NWoBHM, and have each put out a dozen studio albums or so. 07-10-11 21:57:18 __________________________________________________
MetalBubba ::: Favorites I echo a lot of the comments here dude. You need to learn the history behind some of these songs. Some of the other songs on here were REAL stretches too. You've lost your touch. 07-10-11 20:39:07 __________________________________________________
MaTiMuS05Irv ::: Favorites im sorry but some of the comparison's were just stupid some of them like the samson "thunderburst" and "The Ides Of March" steve harris help write thunderburst with samson if anybody knew that and dave mustaine helped make mechanix so thats an easy one 07-10-11 19:04:25 __________________________________________________
knotengaged ::: Favorites You seem like you have it out for both Iron Maiden and Megadeth seeing as how they make up the majority of copy cats her 07-10-11 17:24:24 __________________________________________________
mastapimp ::: Favorites 4 Horsemen and Mechanix were both written by Mustaine (who was a former member of metallica)...Metallica kept his riffs and even gave him credit in all the liner notes. Call of the Ktulu is all Dave also. He uses the same chords and melodies in Hangar 18 and Blood of Heroes 07-10-11 16:57:56 __________________________________________________
thrakkattack ::: Favorites Nice, until you put the four horsemen up there and made a complete ass out of yourself. 07-10-11 16:24:16 __________________________________________________
AustinRules75 ::: Favorites wats up with iron maiden and megadeth also most the copied stuff r by crappy bands that never made it like the firsts 07-10-10 22:36:03 __________________________________________________
