Description: This rare footage has a large story behind it. Please Read!!! I was setting up my tri-pod and equipment and a amtrak worker named John who works in the amtrak station told me,"if you are expecting the grand luxe private tour train to come, dont bother". "theydecided not to come here". Then he showed it to me sitting on the Tacoma Rail short line. Where Sounder Park its equipment. So I packed up and was about to go take pictures. Then I see it leaving. I told my mom to hurry the hell up so we can follow this thing. Only one problem: I dont know anything about this track. So I ask him, john, the amtrak worker and he tells me where to go. I thank him a bunch. 20 minutes after driving, I stumble upon a crossing that looks deserted. Coincidently I found the right track. I hear his hornand literally faint! I beat him! The thing is, the track is older, isnt, used as much and has sharp curves. So he has to go slow. I chased him for an hour and beat him everytime. So awesome!! P42's 138, 13,89 in charge. The car order: Los Angeles, Yellowstone park, Grand Canyon, Monterey, Vienna, Monte Carlo, Bar Horbor, Santa Fe, Charleston, Rocky Mountain, Chicago, Zurich, Copper Canyon, Seattle, Portland, Washington, Denver, Paris, Montreal, Savvanah, New York. He came through on 7-8-07 at 4:30ish pm. Enjoy!!!!!! I still cant believe it!!!!!!!!! |

ACLTony ::: Favorites What a classy looking train! A lot of those cars have notable histories, including the observation car that served on New York Central's 20th Century Limited. I hope that the AOE continues to run for years to come. Thank you for posting :) 07-08-07 16:29:29 __________________________________________________ | |
