psilver03 ::: Favorites 2008-01-04 18:45:50 Now that's 21st century technology! Wow! With all the gear, it is not practical at the moment but, like with all inventions, it will only improve. I can't wait to see where this will lead to! __________________________________________________

604Dan604 ::: Favorites 2008-01-04 17:36:12 At first I thought the video was just a girl dancing behind the wall. But I guess they didn't fake it after all. __________________________________________________

ManiaHub ::: Favorites 2008-01-04 16:04:41 You don't need to move to see the 3D effect. The camera is only moving to show that it's actually 3D, because we have 2D monitors. So if you were sitting still and looking at the screen, it would still look 3D. __________________________________________________
rvanner ::: Favorites 2008-01-04 15:49:15 Nice idea but it doesn't seem very practical... __________________________________________________
libbaz ::: Favorites 2007-12-18 01:20:54 Cool concept. Practically speaking though, a viewer of consumer TV will usually be stationary while watching so the "gain" of visual content would be irrelevant. That said, applications like virtual environments with full wall displays would be fantastic. Ever considered the practical implications for perception tests, games, amusement park rides, and medical demonstrations? Keep up the study! __________________________________________________ |
