inicc ::: Favorites no, its simply that is america "asian" refers specifically to people from east asia, whereas "desi" or "south east asian" will refer to people from the indian subcontinent. this makes more sense than categorizing everyone from the continent of asia as the same race (as in england) because indian people are caucasian, and share ancestry and appearance with europeans, whereas people from for instance china are another race which are someone genetically related to native americans. 07-07-21 03:29:34 _____________________________________________________

And if you're Asian, you're Asian. South East Asia is still Asia.
